XMT 400

This multiprocess power source delivers 400 amps at 60% duty cycle and includes Intellx Feeder capabilities, Auto-Line™, and dedicated weld processes including gouging, flux core and self-shielded welding applications.

Advanced Arc Performance

ArcConnect technology provides next generation communication to improve weld performance and allow point-of-use controls to be located directly at the feeder.

Pulsed MIG capability with Intellx Pro or Elite feeders delivers a wider operating window and a more forgiving arc, helping welders achieve production quality results faster.

Dedicated wire feeder options including Intellx Elite and Intellx Pro provide advanced arc control, Accu-Pulse®, EZ-Set functionality and weld memory features.

Reliable Industrial Operation

Auto-Line Technology allows connection to single-phase or three-phase primary input voltage from 208-600 volts without manual linking, making the system ideal for demanding jobsite conditions.

Wind Tunnel Technology protects internal components from dirt, dust and debris, significantly improving long-term reliability and machine performance.

Fan-On-Demand cooling operates only when required, reducing noise, power consumption and contaminants pulled through the machine.

Ease of Use & Compatibility

Auto Remote Sense (ARS) detects when a remote control is connected and automatically manages switching functions to simplify operation.

EZ-Set simplifies parameter setup based on material thickness, reducing welding complexity and training time for operators.

The XMT 400 is supplied ready to weld with complete package support, while backwards compatibility options support both ArcConnect and standard Miller 14 Pin wire feeders.
